I've seen that "accès de sommeil" has been translated in our glossary as "narcolepsy". I'm wondering if there isn't another term appropriate here, as it is one of a list of side effects:

As Michael points out, in the context of PD, my first answer and first ref are SOS. My intention was just to answer the asker concerning the reason for translating "accés de sommeil" by narcolepsy.

Neutraler Kommentar Michael Barnett: Well, hold on a second here. "Sudden onset of sleep" is 100% correct. "Narcolepsy" is 100% wrong since, although you get SOS in narcolepsy, narcolepsy is a disease distinct from PD. Why not pick one best answer?

-> You are right Michael, but sleep attacks are often mentioned in the context of narcolepsy. This to answer the asker's question. I thought my first ref made things clear in the context of PD.
