I'm translating a manual for software used to control a diamond penetrator and there are a couple of terms I'm not confident enough to translate well. Any help would be greatly appreciated:
La masse (19) en carbure de Tungstène (WC) occupe la quasi totalité du volume intérieur dans le cas du pénétrateur 500 g.
Le diamant (5) est brasé sur un axe en acier. Celui-ci est chassé dans une embase à son tour chassée dans la masse en WC.
Erklärung: Fits the context. I would guess that the spindle is probably "sweated" in. WC is, of course, Wolfram Carbide, W being the standard symbol for tungsten.
