I did also find this translation, but, on reflection, I suppose that pressure/bed sores do, probably, reflect the metabolic state, to a certain extent, and so that is why they consider this in this text.

Pressure sores was the first thing that popped into my head but of course the other terms - bedsores, decubitus ulcers, pressure ulcers - are equally correct. I don't know if one or the other is more BE or AE. |
