Erklärung: As Sue says, 'mounting' is another meaning of 'contre-coller', and frankly in this photographic context, seems to me infinitely more likely -- it is a VERY common activity in a photographic services lab, unlike lamination, which is comparatively rarer (unless for some specific purpose made clear by your wider context)
