Erklärung:
Most charts are graphic, but the writers here wanted to be extra specific. Otherwise, "chart" by itself would suffice.
Of course, you can call a chart a "diagram," but I don't see an overriding reason here to make that change.

Excuse me, this sounds like a function flow chart, which is the first step in planning an application. I would be tempted to say "graphic chart", but by nature all charts are graphic.
