At risk of sounding like an old pedant, I would like to point out that dictionaries do not always give the definitions or terminologies which are used in the real world:
"Automatisierungstechnik" is just "automation" (you can add "technology" if you want, but in English it's superfluous- in DE it's used at the drop of a hat).
"Schaltschrank" is "control cabinet" whether we are talking about just the box itself or one with all the pretty knobs and stuff fitted to the front face (the control panel).
"Bau" is building or manufacturing which may or may not include the design element.
I would also be inclined to put "(including control cabinet manufacture)"- "with" sounds a bit translated, IMHO. |
