"auswachen" certainly has the idea of "cleaning" and in this context, before applying any other material, the foundation would have to be prepared so why not ... not risking the mortgae on it though :)

"auswachen" certainly has the idea of "cleaning" and in this context, before applying any other material, the foundation would have to be prepared so why not ... not risking the mortgae on it though :)
