Könnte "smooth finish (interior) plaster" funktionieren?
Teresa Reinhardt: 7:46pm Feb 20, 2008: Agree w/Erika in principle, I think it's close enough, BUT if these are specs in a tender, the contractor will be expected to deliver EXACTLY what the German says; how do we deal with that?

Demzufolge ist die Begriffsverwendung selbst im deutschen Sprachraum uneinheitlich.

Although the description in Wikipedia describes an older three-coat method, they refer to the second coat as a "floating coat". Modern plasterers in German only use two coats, but finish the second in a manner very similar to that described here for the "floating coat". |
