Do American physicians (and British, for that matter) use this 1-0-1 jargon? Is it prescription jargon (shorthand)? |

And yes, this abbreviation is common jargon used in hospitals all over the US (I don't know about the UK). However, I order to clarify, the times of day would have to be added. Meaning you would say, "bid morning and evening".
Whereas I think in Germany you would rather stick to, "zweimal am Tag" or "morgens und abends"

You are right, Holly, 1-0-1 is not used in the USA only in Germany. I have translated it many times before. |

You are right, Holly, 1-0-1 is not used in the USA only in Germany. I have translated it many times before.
