  -> Diagnosis may well be more common in fetuses and babies, but the term itself does not imply an age restriction. You are right, however, about incorporating the calices. Except that I would call it 'pyelectasis with caliceal involvement' instead.

In any case, the correct term would be "pyelocaliectasis" [From Dorlands - (pi″ә-lo-kal″e-ek´tә-sis) dilation of the renal pelvis and calices] but this is used infrequently in my clinical experience (>30 yrs).
