German term or phrase: Netzteilresektion
In a German medical report where the main diagnosis is ovarian cysts but the patient's rectum was accidentally perforated and bladder was also affected during surgery.
"...Blaseneröffnung mit Übernähung, Netzteilresektion..."
In following histology section the material tested was "Netzgewebe". Then in other test it is called "Gewebe Netz"
What is English for "Netzteilresektion" and are these other references to "Netz" referring to tissue from the same area or perhaps something else? Thanks!

e.g.:
Further exploration revealed an area of matted, gangrenous omentum with surrounding areas of venous congestion. A partial omental resection and inversion appendectomy were performed. The patient recovered without complication and was discharged home on postoperative day 2
