does the "1-0-1" signify one pill in the morning, none in the afternoon, etc., or am I completely off track (I often am)...? Is there a standard way to render this in English?

FYI - the client just confirmted this. 1-0-0 means 1 in the morning. 0-1-0 means one in the middle of the day. 0-0-1 means one in the evening. Four numbers (0-0-0-1) means a final dose before bed.
