SlawekW: 9:24pm Feb 2, 2007: Problem is I am translating a Polish text, which had been previously translated from German into Polish, and the translator seems to have cut a lot of corners. Furthermore the context I've given in the note is all of any relevance. These are modern times and the country is Europe;)
Johanna Timm, PhD: 2:44am Feb 3, 2007: Slawek, do you know when this was written or the time in which the text is set ? Kombi could also denote "Kombinat" (in the former DDR) i.e. a co-op shop.
