Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / Distribution agreement
Italian term or phrase: per quanto prestato a terzi
Context:

My attempt:
The terms and conditions of the Product warranty, if foreseen, are stated on the technical data sheets that accompany the same and that the DISTRIBUTOR must give to the Customers. Except where provided for in said warranty, the DISTRIBUTOR has no right of recourse against the SUPPLIER with regards to what has been granted in favour of third parties concerning Product defects and shall hold the SUPPLIER harmless from what the SUPPLIER may be obliged to grant, for the same reason, to a third party operating upstream of the distribution chain.

I am not sure whether I have grasped the meaning of the abovementioned expression "what has been granted in favour of third parties" yet I can't think of what else it could possibly mean.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

what may be granted to third parties

Explanation:
...pursuant to product defects

It basically says that the distributor shall hold the supplier harmless and not liable for third-party claims arising from product defects directly or indirectly (downstream of the supply chain)
