Übersetzungen Italienisch > Englisch [PRO] Mathematik und Statistik | | Italienisch Begriff oder Satz: circonferenza di centro | Could this just be translated as "circumference"?
C è la circonferenza di centro (0,0) e raggio 1; r è la semiretta bisettrice del I quadrante; A è il punto di intersezione tra C e r.
And is quadrant = segment?

Thanks again folks for all the feedback, much appreciated Grey Drane: 5:38am May 7, 2008: You're welcome, but as luskie says, you're expected to pick a "winner" for the points. I wouldn't mention it except that opportunities for math & stats points don't seem to come around that often.

Erklärung: No, it's not a single term. This is saying that the coordinates of the center of the circumference are 0,0 (i.e. the origin). So "circumference centered at 0,0" or something along those lines.

And no, "quadrante" is "quadrant". The "first quadrant" is the one where both the x and y axes are positive.
