I see that hemogram is recommended as a translation in the glossary, but I notice that hemochrome also exists (or perhaps hema/haemachrome). Is this a different thing? Can it be used in this context? |

| | hemogram / CBC | Erklärung: Yes, I actually have found "hemochrome" for "emocromo" (for example in the "Grande dizionario tecnico e scientifico IT- EN" Zanichelli/Edigeo) but I think that "hemogram" (or "Complete blood count") means "emocromo" as a shortcut for "esame emocromocitometrico"

TS med., accorc. ⇒esame emocromocitometrico.

while "hemochrome" can be basically referred to
1. the red coloring matter of the blood.
2. an oxygen-containing component of the blood.
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=hemochrome
emocromo = sostanza rossa ottenuta trattando l’emoglobina con agenti riduttori)

So in this context it seems to me that "senza altre alterazioni dell'emocromo" could be related to the hemogram meaning "no alterations found in the complete blood count" (even if actually google seems sometimes reporting also some occurences of "hemochrome")
Warning: That's only what I could find searching around, anyway I
hope that helps
