Wouldn't think this type of face shield would also include breathing/ anti-gas apparatus. Simply for anti-shrapnel effectiveness - like the ones worn in Iraq. Gas masks and full ballistic protective helmets and shields are heavier and restrict movement so are not suitbale for patrolling duties. |
