CBD stands for a commercial center district, also called Central Business District (CBD for short), originally born of America in the 1920s, meaning a place for people gathered to do business. CBD of contemporary sense refers to a location where is gathered with a large number of institutions for finance, commerce, trade, information and consultation services, a great quantity of auxiliary facilities such as commercial offices, hotels and apartments, and completed conditions for municipal transportation and communication to be in favor of contemporary business activities.
