Übersetzungen Italienisch > Englisch [PRO] Sport/Fitness/Erholung / Football | | Italienisch Begriff oder Satz: coreografie | This is in two questionnaire responses:
'Una partecipazione più diretta alla partita e le splendide coreografie'
'seguire realmente la partita. tifare, sostenerla, coreografie.'
Is it about set pieces, or Mexican waves, or what? I can't imagine English fans talking about choreography! |

This is about something that happens at an Italian football match. Jane Griffiths: 1:51pm May 4, 2007: The people who are writing are Italian football fans.

| shows choreography
Erklärung: if this is about american football they may be talking about the half time show..choreography indeed, they make quite a bog deal out of it here..not sure about England

on second thought it may also have to do with the cheerleading squad choreography (which in any case would be doing a 'show' at half time besides their regular sideline cheer moves)

| Fan cheering banners/Cheering group choreographies
Erklärung: Ok, so this is not about 'cheerleaders' rather about Italian soccer fans cheering for their team with banners, people singing and mimicking a group choreography i.e. "Ale oh oh...'
The choreographies you are referring to are the fans supporting the team.

| choreographed routines
Erklärung: The reference could be to displays organised by the club (encouraging the fans to hold up coloured seat cushions, for example) or by supporters groups (a while back, Udinese's Curva Nord had its fifteen minutes of fame when fans took to unfurling a vast black and white jersey down the terraces).

| choreographed cheering (in the stands)/supporters' choreography
Erklärung: The reference is not to a mid-time show, but to the banners and choruses organised by the football fans in the stands (or, more likely, in the "curve") all through the match.
"Supporters' coreography" is a closer translation but I found very few hits on the internet, I had more success with "Choreographed cheering".
Hope this helps.
