(5) 'Winespeak Weekend' held in Italy

A 'Winespeak Weekend', the first event of its type, was held in Italy, in the Abruzzo region, from May 15 - 17.
Attendees had a fantastic time, as you can judge from the words of attendee and member Nicole Johnson: "Angela Arnone did an amazing job of organizing this event. We had a great time meeting each other and the wonderful guests from Ortona and the surrounding areas she introduced to us. I don't think we stopped eating and drinking for more than an hour and a half the entire weekend."
"Giles Watson's presentation was extremely interesting and the pearls of wisdom he so graciously shared with the attendees will surely be put to good use.
I only hope that we will have the possibility of attending another event similar to this one in order to expand on Angela's wonderful and original idea!"
