Hi, my name is Alexandra Roorda, I am freelance translator at my company "Sagacious". I am born in Cologne, Germany, where I lived and studied until finalizing my Master’s Degree in Business Administration. At the same time, I am half-Slovenian and love the Southern parts of Europe. Early in my school years, I found that I have a great talent for foreign languages. In University, I majored in English and French, took half a year to improve my Slovenian language in writing and speaking at the University of Ljubljana, worked one year in Italy where I gained my knowledge of Italian and last but not least moved to the Netherlands in 2005 where I worked for several years in marketing and communication. Dutch has meanwhile become my second family language and the Netherlands my home-base.
