Users are able to control all email notifications by setting their email notifications' preferences radio boxes.
To edit your email notifications, select the "edit email preferences" link from your profile page, or click on your setting's tab to access your email preference page. Once you have arrived to your email preference page, you'll notice 4 tabs: Profile Mail, Jobs Notifications, KudoZ Notifications, and Other Notifications.
Profile Mail
All users are able to email you from your profile page, as long as you have allowed them under your "profile mail preferences" tab. Emails that are sent from your profile page go to your primary email address. Remember, you may also block ProZ.com members or IP addresses from you email preference page.
Job Notifications
All users are able to control their job notifications by the following parameters: posted/instant jobs, all categories, specific categories, language pair, etc., and you can always change them at anytime. (Please check the "language pair" link under the "Settings" tab also to edit your services and styles for you language pairs.)

KudoZ Notifications
You are also able to control your KudoZ notifications by difficulty level, language pairs, asker properties, and subject areas.

Other Notifications
On this page, you'll be able to sign-up for the monthly newletter, notifications for events near you, howtos, TGBs, and alert/summarized calls for the Blue Board.
Email Address(es) In your profile, you are allowed to have a 'current' email address and a 'secondary' email address. To change you add email address to you account, just click on the "edit personal data" link on your profile page.
Your secondary email address is used to contact you if your primary address fails. If mail sent to your primary email address is returned by your mail provider, your primary address will be replaced with your secondary address, and your primary email address will be disabled and highlighted in red. If you notice that your primary email address has been disabled (highlighted in red), please copy and paste the same email address into the text box, update your information, and then check to see if your primary email address has been repaired. If not, you may have to enter in a new email address or send a support request to the following link: http://www.proz.com/support
If you'd like to change your email address(es), just enter your new email address in the desired text box, and update your information, and your new email address should replace your old one.
Unsubscribe to All Emails To unsubscribe to all emails please click on the setting's tab and select the unsubscribe link. This will prompt you to the next page which will allow you to stop all email notifications. (You may also deactivate your account on this page too, but if you decided to reactivate your account, ProZ.com support can help you do that.)
Note: Once you unsubscribe to email notifications, all of your preferences will be erased and you'll have to update once again.
