I am an avid world traveler and freelance English-Spanish translator. I grew up speaking Spanish in my bilingual home, but I also have been passionately acquiring the Japanese and Portuguese languages for the past few years. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Japanese and International Studies; however, my language expertise comes from my willingness to develop complete dominion over the new languages I undertake.

Before delving into the ample world of language and translation, I professionally worked as an automotive technician for the better part of the past 13 years. Over the years my attention to detail in the hands-on automotive industry has transitioned into a keen awareness in perfecting the art of language use and maintenance.

In 2015 I made a career transition by accepting a work contract in Osaka, Japan to teach English as a second language. Since then, experiences in a wide array of fields while traveling throughout Asia and Latin America have taught me that my most challenging yet meaningful work comes when I immerse myself in the world of language. I have always been practical, mindful, and determined in my work, and I bring those qualities to every translation project I take on.
