It was a pleasure to translate (and try out) these original recipes created by a famous French chef. Converted measurements, specialized French ingredients and terminology to follow precise publisher specifications. Cookbook chapters I translated featured sorbets and ice cream, yogurt varieties, chocolate, caramel and other dessert sauces, fresh fruit and vegetable salads, crepes, cakes and pastries. Delicious.

Source text - French Etant donné qu’il n’existait pas sur le marché de logiciels d’infographie 3D capable de traiter les modèles photo¬grammétriques de la société - leur résolution, très fine, excède les plafonds des outils usuels - Iconem a développé son propre logiciel de création 3D. Cet outil conserve la résolution native du modèle et génère, de ce fait, des images d’un grand photoréalisme. A l’inverse des logiciels du marché, cet outil exploite les modèles 3D en format “nuages de points” et non en format “polygones”, et ouvre un nouveau champ de possibles, l’esthétique du nuage de points se prêtant à des effets inédits et très impactants. Iconem travaille à l’ajout de nombreuses fonctionnalités, qui permettront d’offrir tout une palette de possibilités graphiques aux infographistes.
Iconem réserve pour l’instant cet outil à un usage interne - du fait de son manque d’ergonomie - mais il est envis¬agé de le monétiser et de l’ouvrir à des tiers, quand son développement sera mature.
Translation - English Finding that no 3D computer graphics software on the market was able to handle the company's photogrammetric mapping models – their very high resolution exceeds the limits of standard tools – Iconem set out to develop its own 3D creation software. Its tool preserves the model's native resolution and, accordingly, generates highly photorealistic images.
Unlike any software currently available on the market, this tool supports 3D models using the Point Cloud Data file format instead of the older polygon format. It thus opens up a new world of possibilities since the Point Cloud Data file format's visual performance lends itself to never-seen-before high impact effects. Iconem is working to add many new features that will offer graphic designers an even wider range of options.
At present, Iconem has reserved this tool for its own internal use – due to its lack of portability – but the company plans to market it for sale to third parties once development is complete.
