Bio
I am a well-versed and bicultural English < > Portuguese translator with more than ten years of experience as a linguist.
My initiation into the translation business was in Florida as a transcriber and proofreader in 1998. I then moved to Brazil and became an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) instructor while still translating from home to clients throughout the world. In late 2004, I moved to Boston to continue teaching and have been providing translation services to agencies, law firms, businesses, hospitals, and individuals in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since then.
I completed the Legal and Community Interpreting program at Boston University and a Medical Interpreter program at Cross Cultural Communication Systems.
