One of our most popular courses is about Post-Editing of MT output, as MT has been growing exponentially especially in the last few years thanks to neural MT and AI applications.

Still, questions abound on machine translation and on the role of MT post-editor. There's no better way to find answers to these questions than to attend our next in-person workshop on Post-Editing on the 26th of June 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

MACHINE TRANSLATION
Introduction of MT technology and of the different types of available MT systems, their benefits & challenges
Overview of the available evaluation methods to assess MT output
Controlled natural language authoring / pre-editing

POST-EDITING
Definitions and types of post-editing, rules and PE best practices
Overview of the skills to become an efficient post-editor
MTPE in the wokflow: best practices to set up an MT project involving post editing, engine retraining and quality control
Analysis of some real life examples of raw MT output

Besides an experienced trainer, there will also be subject matter experts to answer your questions throughout the session and to share their direct experiences.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll receive a TAUS certificate and badge as certified Post-Editor.
