Formatting in a subtitle file

Hi all,

What kind of formatting is included in a subtitle file (.srt or .vtt)?
e.g. bold, italics, font color, underline
I know above 4. Is there any other kind of formatting that can be a part of a subtitle file?

Do all subtitle editors support the formatting?
