external student Explanation: Tengo entendido que en Argentina un alumno libre es alguien que únicamente se presenta para rendir el examen, sin ir a las clases, rendir parciales, o entregar trabajos prácticos. Quiere decir que solo tienen que presentarse en persona para el examen, y lo demás pueden hacer a distancia. Para el Reino Unido, encontré 'external student' (ver referencias).
