I thought it would be nice to get to know each other while having a fika in a spring afternoon here in Malmö.
If this meeting turns out to be a success (I am sure it will :) we can try and meet in other cities after this (Gothenburg, Stockholm, Uppsala, Lund...).
Copenhagen is only 25 minutes away by train so our Danish colleagues are more than welcome to join us.

Dear all,
It is good to know you are interested in attending this powwow!
I've been thinking about a place for us to meet and thought that the Pronto Café could be a good option. It is very central, easy to find, quite big and I would call and book a table for us in advance to make sure we have a nice table to chat away. They have the best cheesecake in town, in addition to salads, sandwiches and good coffee.
What do you think? Does anybody prefer somewhere else... See more

I have tried booking a table at Pronto Caffehouse, but they do not work with booked tables and they said it is usually full on a Saturday, so I did not want to risk us getting there and having no place to seat.

Our table is booked on the third floor. When you get there you can either ask to talk to Jo, one of the people who work there, and he will show you the way, or you can call me or sms me.
If you have any trouble finding the place or the table, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am not sure why, but only today I found out about this event. I live in Lund and I think I would enjoy meeting fellow translators "around the corner". But perhaps some other time.
