Bilingual, as born in Brazil and learnt English at home since birth.

Though my first degree was in Art in Brazil, I have been teaching English as a second language and working with translations for almost 25 years, ever since I graduated in English in England.

I have working experience in Med, Law, Finance, Business, and Marketing and Design dealing with both languages (PT<>EN) on a daily basis, having translated numerous papers published in renown journals, articles, books and audio-books, street polls, contracts, websites, etc.

Having worked with different companies and professionals gave me a great deal of knowledge in different areas. Living abroad, first for four years in Oxford, England, then for shorter periods in other countries, besides the language, helped me understand cultural differences that influence the language.

My administrative skills, acquired earlier, are an asset to being an organized professional who always accomplishes deadlines.
