Bio

I translate art criticism, literature, and academic work, among other types of texts. I also edit fiction and nonfiction.

With a wide range of experience—living in Mexico for two decades, being an artist, holding multiple higher education degrees, and translating for eighteen years—I am well-equipped to tackle any translation project in the arts and humanities.

I hold a B.S. in studio art and three master's degrees in European studies, comparative literature, and religious studies, the last two recently completed. I am currently finishing a certificate in literary translation.

While I was in graduate school (roughly 2014-2022), I was always translating, but a lot of the work I did focused on the requirements for my degrees.
