From 2000 till present

Founded a translation business in May 2000, my team and I are in charge of French and English translations for documents such as IT manuals, tenders, RFP, legal contracts.

My responsibilities also include project management, business development, marketing research, client communication, signing of contracts and non disclosure agreements, planning, implementation, execution and invoicing. Here are some of the projects I have worked on:

- Ongoing translations of legal and technical manuals and SOPs (SAP, Telecom, Technology) for French enterprises such as Total, EDF, Sociéte Générale, Renault, Monoprix, AXA, Orange, Sopra Steria.
- Ongoing translations of Tenders and RFPs for large electrical transmission projects in Africa.

- Translations of website content for Netaid and GMFC (Global Movement for Children) in September 2000.

- Project Manager for 6 months in 2002 at Maximize Learning/Aptara Corp Pune, I was in charge of the business development for the French market and managing a team of ten designers and programmers, in the domain of e-learning, digital publishing and content technology solutions.

- I assisted with a surtitling stint in April 2015 at Theatre Le Ranelagh for the play "The Marriage of Figaro"
- Subtitling in French for Bollywood movie Chori Chori in 2003 and Script Translation for 'Sir' by Rohena Gera released at Cannes Film Festival 2018

- And I also worked on the following assignments at the Embassy of India in Paris: 1) Translator of Press Releases at the Media Control Room during the visit of the Indian Prime Minister for COP21 in December 2015; 2) Translations of Daily Press Reviews for the Indian Ambassador; 3) Wrote book reviews published in the Embassy's magazine "Nouvelles de l'Inde"; 4) Digitization of books (Indian, French, English) using the E-Grantalaya software provided by the Ministry of External Affairs. 5) Translator and Interpreter at the Namaste France Festival from September to December 2016 in Paris, where I was the Liaison Officer between Indian Artists (such as Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Astad Deboo, Shashank Subramanyam) and the Event Managers of Philarmonie Paris, La Villette, Opera Bastille, Petit Palais, France24 and also at Hotel de Ville (The City Hall of Paris). 6) Translator of Press Releases at the Media Control Room during the Indian Prime Minister's meeting with President Emmanuel Macron in Paris on June 3rd 2017.
