Bio
I am a molecular biologist and work as a reasercher, but I've been a freelance translator for over 20 years.
My main language pairs are swedish-italian and italian-swedish. I am fully bilingual as i grew up with an italian father and a swedish mother, learning and using both languages since childhood.
Concerning my education I have an italian upper secondary school certificate, an equivalent swedish degree (just certifying my language skills) an italian Master degree and a swedish PhD.
Although my speciality is obviously within molecular biology, genetics, biotech and biomedical disciplines.
I have during the years translated texts in many different disciplines: sworn translations, legal documents, archeology, exhibition catalogues, software, medical, dentistry, contracts, engeneering, history, patents, food industry, school marks and many more.
I have also experience in translating from english to both my target languages (italian and swedish).
I use english every day at my work.
I may be preferable when it gets to my area of expertise, for translations in general biology, gentics, molecular biology, molecular genetics, biotech, zoology, histology and all biology related disciplines.
In these subjects I have translated several patents including my own patents.
