French to Bulgarian: Demande de décision préjudicielle/EU law General field: Other Detailed field: Law (general)
English to Bulgarian: The Myth of Fairness: General field: Bus/Financial Detailed field: Human Resources
Source text - English The Myth of Fairness:
Where does this myth come from? First, it is the closely related political correctness, which causes so many people to self-censor any mention of differences between and among individuals – even observable merit-based differences.
Second, the fear that others may consider differential treatment of employees, as a possible discrimination between two individuals. Third, is the popular misunderstanding of humanistic psychology and human development theory, which holds in essence that “we are all winners”. (…)
But the reality shows that unfortunately we are not all winners. (…) Hiding behind false fairness means that most managers are unable or unwilling to provide employees with extra rewards when they go the extra mile. I know a lot of managers who actually say to employees “I really appreciate your extra effort, but I can’t do something special for you. If I did that for you, I’d have to do that for everybody”.
Translation - Bulgarian

By now, I have completed hundreds of projects for major clients, such as the European Parliament, the European Commission, CoR, EESC, ECA, many public and private bodies and institutions in Bulgaria.
In October 2010 I successfully passed the EPSO open competition for translators with Bulgarian as main language.

Boriana
