After studying German at Newcastle University, UK, I lived in Germany for 16 years working as a secretary/PA for several international companies and as an English teacher before embarking on a career as a freelance translator. I have held the Dipl Trans qualification since 1999 and have been a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists since 2000 and a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting since 2006. With over 20 years of experience in translating,  specialising in Finance and Legal, I work to a high quality and at a reasonable price.
