I, XXX, being duly sworn, depose and state:
1. I am a citizen of the United States, residing in California.
2. I am an investigator employed by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. I have been so employed for approximately 19 ½ years. I have been assigned in the Sex Crimes Unit for approximately six years. I have personally conducted and participated in investigations which have resulted in convictions for rape and child molestation.
3. Based on my training and experience with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, I am familiar with the methods involved in investigating rapes and child molestations. I am knowledgeable about the criminal statutes and procedures of the State of California.
4. My duties with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department included the investigation of XXX (hereafter “XXX”) in the case of The People of the State of California v. XXX, Case No. XXX, for burglary of an inhabited dwelling and the sexual assaults of XXX (hereafter “XXX”) and XXX (hereafter “XXX”). As the lead investigator in this investigation, I am familiar with the evidence in the case against XXX which I will summarize in Paragraphs 6 through 29 below.
IDENTIFICATION
5. XXX is a Mexican citizen, born XXX, 1972 in Vera Cruz, Mexico. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’6”, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. A copy of XXX’ California Department of Motor Vehicle’s photograph is attached to this affidavit as Attachment 7. I showed this photograph to XXX and XXX and they identified the person in the photograph as XXX, the person who sexually assaulted them on March 5, 2004. Attachment 8 contains the known fingerprints of XXX obtained from him after a prior arrest in Orange County, California.

Les mostré esta fotografía a XXX y XXX, quienes identificaron a la persona de la fotografía como XXX, el individuo que abusó sexualmente de ellas el día 5 de marzo de 2004. El Folio 8 contiene las huellas dactilares de XXX que fueron tomadas tras un arresto anterior en el Condado de Orange, California.

Any action or proceeding relating to this agreement shall be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction in the State of New York (USA). If any provision of this Agreement is declared by a court to be void, null, unenforceable, or illegal, the remainder of the Agreement or the application of any other provisions shall not be affected thereby. Failure by Editor to enforce a provision of this Agreement does not mean that he waives such provision or the right to enforce it at any other time. Paraguay continues to expand its biofuel industry, and it is expected to become an important producer of biofuels. It intends to double the ethanol production to 300 000 m3/y until 2014. 95 percent
will be produced from sugarcane and melass. All gasoline is mixed with 24 percent ethanol.
The country also has an ambition to blend ethanol, 8 - 10 percent in diesel. Biodiesel produced from Castor and Jatropha is still small but will expand. Paraguay is not expected to become an important biofuels exporter in the short or medium term. However, as the industry develops and current and future investments come on line, there will be exports of both biofuels. Paraguay has the potential to grow different feedstocks efficiently, including second-generation material in the future. Paraguay is a landlocked country surrounded by Argentina, Bolivia and Brazil. However, it has good connections to
the Atlantic Ocean with a barge system through the Paraguay and Parana rivers, and with a trucking system to Paranagua port in Brazil.
