I don't think I quite understand the option "Yes, as we have to invest more money for AI", but if "adjust" means "lower", then my answer is a very clear "Hell no".

Am I the one who's buying access to AI translation for whatever reason? I'm not planning to do it just in case, but if I did, I'd pay whatever they charge and work for my normal rate less that amount of money. Or is it the customer who's providing me with access to their AI tool? But why would they? The tool choice should be mine because my work is a black box, I should be free to choose my tools as long as they help me produce results the customer will be happy with. I do. We need to charge more for these than for traditional translation from scratch.

I voted that I don't know, because I don't care, I'm not going to start using AI. I do see the use of CAT tools (although they are highly over-rated in terms of making sure terminology is consistent).
And we can say all we like about it being a reason to push rates up, we all know very well that clients will use it as an excuse to drive rates down.
And quality will nosedive as increasing numbers of people will think they can be a translator since all they have to do is... Sorry to be pessimistic. ▲ Collapse
If it means you get more words done then a lower rate per word would be justified, but your rate per hour should be the same.
At the end of the day, it's your time they are buying.
(Not that I would do this.)

Could someone give some examples of "ai enabled tools", what this enablement consists in and how reliable the results are?

Personally, I'm happy enough to charge my usual translation rate IF I'm working with a halfway competent tool that has a feature to batch-delete any unconfirmed segments. That's three clicks and about 10 seconds
Rates per word are partly the reason why translation output is treated as a commodity. I quote a total price for a project to direct clients. Just once has someone asked how I determined that price.
(Agencies of course benefit hugely from this commoditisation approach.)
Frankly, as long as I'm getting my hourly rate, I don't care if I'm writing a translation by biro on boll roll, post-editing ChatGPT, or walking the client's dog around the park.

If I knew what AI-enabled CAT tools were, then I might be able to answer, but as it stands right now, I'm not sure what it actually means.

If we use any tools to improve the quality of our work, then yes, we should consider raising our rates, if the market permits, because we have product that is worth more to our clients.
If we use any tools simply to save time and increase our productivity, without improving the quality of our work, I don't see why we should change our rates. If we are keeping up with inflation, if we don... See more > Do you think we need to adjust our rates when working with AI-enabled CAT tools?

If we use any tools simply to save time and increase our productivity, without improving the quality of our work, I don't see why we should change our rates. If we are keeping up with inflation, if we don't already have too much work, and if we're not working at rates below what the market accepts, it's normally advisable not to shake things up. ▲ Collapse

No one able to provide an example? What is an "ai enabled cat tool"? Something like Trados with a chatty tool (aka LLM) you can ask questions or to do things? If so, what's the benefit of this "enablement" (or was "empowerment" meant?), and to what extent?
Most of the times I just find using these chat bots more time consuming than working without them. It is generally known that their answers sound very convincing but in fact are not reliable, so checking their output adds to the waste of time. So I wonder what their super add would be. Does anyone have an answer for me?
(I'm assuming LLMs=chat bots are meant with AI here, as many tools are already AI-assisted.)

Based on the ProZ AI Expo, there are a growing number of CAT tools with integrated Chat GPT so you can get your stuff rewritten in AIese.
