After having studied Scandinavian, English and German philology at the universities of Münster, Germany, and Trondheim, Norway, I've been working as a research assistant and teacher for Norwegian for several years.
In 2014, I've started as a freelancer in translation, mostly Norwegian to German, but also Swedish and Danish to German. Although my focus is on both literary and scientific texts, which have been my field of study for many years (literature, linguistics, history, cultural studies, humanities in general, ...), I am truly interested in medical texts and everything about biology and nature as well as travel and tourism.
