Each osteotomy procedure requires in English a specification dependent on joint or technique: displacement is one technique, derotation another. See www.scholar.google.com for varus osteotomy, valgus osteotomy, derotational o... They all exist.

This is obviously a text for patients, Sven! But let me be more precise than above: The 'Umstellung' does not necessarily appear in the English term. See e.g. http://orthopedics.about.com/od/hipkneereplacement.
agree MMUlr : Agree with Anne's opinion on "Umstellung". However, there must be a more precise speficiation of the procedure in each individual case (see my note above in the question box). Here the most general "osteotomy" seems OK.
