My name is Smith Nord. I was born and raised in Haiti. Haitian Creole is my native language, but I speak and write English and French as a profession. I am also a teacher of English but I love translating better than teaching. As a result, I have chosen translation and have been translating From English to Creole for 13 years now. Initially, I was an English to French translator working mostly in the adoption industry but I have developped an interest in Haitian Creole translation. As a Haitian Creole translator, I always and would make sure that I give a Creole aspect to all of my translations so that I can better convey any message in English to my Haitian folks in Haiti and around the world. I am committed to helping those from English-speaking countries communicate with my Haitian folks through translating or interpreting.
A native Creole speaker is always the best person to convey any message from any language to Haitians after all!!!

As a professional translator, I would like to translate only for translation agencies or companies that really care about high quality translations and of course that are ready to pay the fee for quality. I can handle all CAT tools available on the market as well as work on any platforms.
