Dear linguists,
Is there anyone who exactly knows what is meant with "Naschkätzchen"? I cannot provide any context but I just want to learn what this word refers to. I guess a person who likes eating sugar is called "Naschkätzchen" or am I wrong?
Thank you for your help in advance!!

little nibbler
As a diminutive, it's typically used to refer to cute little kids, not grown men raiding the fridge at midnight. Sweet tooth doesn't really get that across as it lacks the flexibility of the German which can slap the diminutive on almost anything..

Note from asker:
I don't know if I should use this equivalence because it doesn't involve anything referring to sugar but still your explanation helps me a lot. Thank you! |

Diving into Max’s Palace Famous Chocolate Mess Party (warm chocolate mud cake with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, ice cream, chocolate candy, toffee, and bananas or strawberries) or any other fanciful specialty is pure bliss for little sugar fiends.
