I am a freelance translator working mainly in French to English, although I have also worked extensively with German to English across diverse fields and with the Italian to English language combination in specific areas: general legal, creative arts, marketing, food and hospitality, tourism and general interest. I have also been engaged in proofreading and editing translations in these language pairs throughout my nine years+ of translation experience. However, I am currently undertaking a part-time Master's programme in Illustration and therefore hope to work more in overtly creative areas, including within my translation work. 

Aside from the above, I have been working intensively with postgraduate students and authors as an an English language consultant, text editor and proofreader, from first degree up to PhD and publication (journals, books). The subject areas are diverse, ranging from engineering and pure sciences to business, law and education.

I divide my time between France and the UK, thus ensuring ongoing language immersion and development in my dominant language pair.
