I decided to work as a freelancer after a significant number of years building structures and managing projects, and translation for both SMEs and listed companies (CAC 40 and DAX 30), foundations, associations and government departments. My previous experience includes news and translation agencies (Press + / TNS Media Intelligence and EVS Translations). Previous experiences: Presse+ / TNS Media Intelligence Through my active and decisive role in the establishment of Press + / TNS Media Intelligence’s German subsidiary (today Kantar Media Intelligence), a European leader in infomediation activities, I gained experience in economic and financial news writing and the special writing requirements of press activities. EVS Translations EVS Translations provided me the opportunity to create, build and consolidate a French language department from the ground up. Together with exceptionally reliable freelance translators, valuable support staff, a growing number of customers, I played a pivotal role both in its start and finalization phases. Management tools, terminology databases, maintenance of an extensive network of translators through project management, definition of procedures, recruitment and training of members of the French department are but a few other areas of activity of the EVS Translations’ French department to which I contributed decisively.
