Bio
I passed the Senior Cambridge 'O' level examination in 1966 held by Cambridge Univesrity, UK. An excellent knowledge of the English language was essential to pass the examination. During the early 1970s I wrote articles regularly for the Sunday magazine of Pakistan's leading newspaper DAWN. The command of the English language enabled me to find employement as an Urdu to English translator at an American organization in the Middle East. I carried out multimedia translation work for three years at this organization.
