Born in Germany, raised in Belgium and Switzerland, I was gifted with two mother tongues and a special talent for languages that made me easily absorb English, which I speak like a mother tongue and which I studied at university (MA in English linguistics a.o.), Spanish (native-speaker like competences), Russian and Chinese (traditional).

I have been working as an interpreter and TRANSLATOR since 2013, entering the field through Alternative Medicine (Traditional Chinese Medicine, Osteopathy, Craniosacral therapy, Homeopathy, Shiatsu etc.), Psychology/Neuropsychology and Spirituality/Meditation and widened my scope soon to law and business, as well as websites of all kinds.
I am also specialised in Eastern (Chinese and Japanese) culture, tea culture, Buddhism, Zen, martial arts and so on.
I did a lot of website translations and help people create appropriate texts for flyers, websites, event announcements etc.

I translate(d) everything from a half-page letter up to whole books.

I am successfully working as an INTERPRETER for seminars and workshops on all kinds of topics with up to 900 participants (consecutive interpreting English-German and of course vice versa), simultaneous interpreting English-French (600 participants) but also for smaller groups and chuchotage (background interpreting).
Regular standing ovations from participants and delighted workshop leaders belong to my common experience, which earned me the image of an "interpreter PLUS".

I am experienced in interpreting WEBINARS and (international) PHONE CONFERENCES, too.

I also work as an editor and PROOFREADER for texts translated into German, e.g. the book "Nature and the Human Soul" by Bill Plotkin.
