I am a German electrical technician with 20 years professional experience, plus 11 years of full-time translation experience.

I have spent 10 years of my professional career in the United States of America, performing work within an international organization as electrical technician, manager and translator.

The driving force behind any of my professional actions is simply: Do it professionally!

Contrary to common translation pricing practice, I do not provide my services based on word or character count. All my services require prior to starting any work an agreed upon quotation (cost estimate) which will be binding for both parties. An hourly rate of 60.00 € will be the basis of such quotations.

Translation services will be provided only for the following areas of expertise:

Construction related material
Electronics
Electrical engineering
Computer hardware and software

I provide most of my services in the language combination English -> German, except construction related material, this is due to the fact of the often cryptic language used within that subject area which native speakers mostly will not be able to understand much less be able to translate properly.
