I'm a German native speaker living in Germany with the university degree of a "Diplom-Übersetzer" for language combinations English-German and French-German. Moreover, I am sworn by Landgericht Kassel court for certified translations in these languages. Having started my professional career as an in-house political translator at a bilingual Alsacian Newspaper in France, I went back to Germany after two years and launched a freelancer activity, which, after having done a couple of books, gave me the opportunity to specialize and gain a rich experience in translating a wide range of technical, commercial and PR documents in the fields of, for instance, measurement and control instrumentation, e.g. controllers, indicators, recorders, control systems, industrial and process automation, software manuals, program development systems, electronic weighing and batching, extruder and injection moulder control systems, winding machinery, plastic fans, medical appliances, quality manuals, test reports, quotations, software maintenance and support agreements, joint venture and other commercial agreements, and a wide variety of general texts which have to be translated in everyday practice. Recently, I have translated numerous projects in the fields of IT, biotechnology and medical equipment.

Apart from these business translations, I was in charge of innumerable certified translations, from the simple birth certificate or driving licence to divorce decrees and patent descriptions.

Recently, I have translated a lot of big IT projects, websites, medical equipment manuals, and tourism-related texts.
