Speaking seriously, we, the FSU translators, a still outsiders to a great extent. Even those trying to work internationally do not always know what or how to do it, to say nothing of the beginners. As a result, a major part of the Powwow was devoted to the general procedure of searching for translation work via Internet and then performing the translation task. Finding potential clients; discussing the terms and requirements; quality standards and deadline; pricing policies & rates; typical problems and errors - those were the major issues addressed.
And of course, the fun of meeting in person those known only virtually!
