French term

TM

French to English Medical Medical: Cardiology
In an echocardiogram report, a chart with a lot of abbreviations, the headers in several cells are:

VG + VD (TM) - I was thinking that VG = left ventricle, VD = right ventricle, but am no longer sure. Entries underneath are things like SIVd, VGd, PPVGd, etc.
OG/Ao (TM) - OG = left atrium, Ao = aorta, I assume
VM (TM) - haven't figured out VM yet - no entries underneath.

I would use "M-mode" rather than "time-motion".

M-Mode echocardiography | CardiophileM-Mode echocardiography (Time-motion mode) was one of the earliest tools of the echocardiographer. M-Mode gives an ice-pick view of the heart.

Yes for this: VG + VD (TM) - I was thinking that VG = left ventricle, VD = right ventricle

The things underneath are dimensions (thicknesses or diameters)
small *d* is usually "(end) diastolic"
SIVd - épaisseur du septum interventriculaire en diastole = IVSd (diastolic interventricular septum thickness)
PPVGd - paroi postérieure ventricule gauche = LVPWd (diastolic LV posterior wall thickness)
