Hello, I'm just starting my career a professional translator. My client is asking me to "confirm" the job so that she can send me the documents. What does it mean to "confirm?" What do I need to do?

to accept the job (see)
Confirm in this context is to accept the job; usually you are required to fill out documents such as a Purchase Order and tax identification documents and many times you need to review an independent contractor agreement.

tell your client that you accept the job
your client wants to know whether you accept the job, only then can the documents be sent. You simply tell her that you accept i.e. confirm your readiness
